On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene severely damaged our beloved Cottage Cemetery. A number of trees, big and small, were knocked down, damaging the brick wall and the steel security fence. Grave markers received minor damage. Currently a clean-up project is underway to remove trees and repair the brick wall.
